Saint Paul Intergroup always has many opportunities for you to be of service. The following opportunities are always available:

Answering phones in the Intergroup office | Three months | Shifts from:

Answering phones for a Night Owl or Early Bird shift. | One Year | You can sign up to take a regular monthly shift or to be on the back-up list. | Night Owl Program |
Outreach Volunteer | None | Outreach volunteers visit meetings to tell them about St. Paul Intergroup. You make a short announcement and leave material for the group. | Outreach Chair |
Temporary Sponsor | One Year | You act as a temporary sponsor to a new member of AA. You can tell them about AA, help them find meetings in their area and introduce them to other AA members who could be a more permanent sponsor. | Volunteer online or Call the office during office hours. |
Twelfth Step Caller | One Year | You make a first contact with someone who has been drinking, feels they are about to drink, or has never been to an AA meeting. | |
Speaker | One Year | You tell your story at an AA meeting or a facility in the St. Paul area. | |
Intergroup Council Representative | None/Determined by group represented | You attend the monthly Intergroup Reps' meeting. Your job is to be the link between your group and the St. Paul Intergroup Office. You can also volunteer to be on different committees at this meeting. | Call the office during office hours. You can also just show up at the meeting - you don't need to be a Rep to attend! |
